M.O *zip* S.H.

New On Broken Wings tracks have been surfacing on YouTube.com and various web pages as of late and I have to say it has put a smile on my face to see these kids back together making music. I have only heard two tracks thus far but I am convinced that the extended vacation has done them well. Upon hearing of their plans to record a new album, I was intrigued because the landscape of hardcore has changed so much since they time in which they were prevalent. Needless to say they have stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park. The new tracks are immediately life crushingly heavy and have way more of a metal feel to them. The singing (a la I Do My Crosswords In Pen) has been replaced with even more scratchy vocals, the breakdowns are a lot heavier than previous releases, which was thought to be impossible. Lastly the guttural vocals have gotten even deeper on the newer tracks, which aids in making their overall "newer" sound extremely intense. The production quality on these new tracks far surpass any of OB DUB offering, giving them a very clean and polished sound. All of these progressions are definitely a better look for them in 2012 and I am curious to see how the rest of the album tentatively titled "Summer Solstice" will sound.
Oh, and I am crossing my fingers for another John Blake hidden freestyle.

Evil Dead Red Band.

I just hope it doesn't blow goats like every other remake...

Never thought this day would come....

Well it finally happened today, I watched the new offering from Die Antwoord and I am completely hooked on this madness. Initially, I refused to succumb to yet about over-hyped scene trend (ala fixed gears); therefore, I have never once listened to a Die Antwoord song, ever. Today, however, "Fatty Boom Boom" caught my eye, mostly because I recognized the title as a Jamaican phrase for girls with fat asses or just overweight people in general(in context). I decided to push play and I was immediately casted in a world of visual and lyrical madness. Everything about this video is amazing; the make-up and costumes, the vibrant choice of the colors, the penis docta, and even the haunting rap howls of Yo-Landi Vi$$er. Numerous people have told me over the past couple years, that I would be really into these guys but I could not deal with the fact that EVERYONE was constantly blabbering on and on about them and following each band fact or just the name alone with "OOOOOHHH...IT'S SOOO GOOOODD.. OMG!" Fuck outta here, with that bullshit. Either way, I am glad that I waited for the hype to simmer because I was finally able to give them a fair chance. I suggest you do the same if you are into the weird and unusual, like me.

Oh and then there's this too....

Cattle Decapitation - “Forced Gender Reassignment”

First there was Salò: 120 Days of Sodom, then there was A Serbian Film and now I would like to welcome Cattle Decapitation’s video for “Forced Gender Reassignment” to the list of the most fucked up yet amazing things I have ever seen… This video has been deemed too intense for YouTube and completely denied by Vimeo. However, they guys and gals at blood-disgusting.com have no qualms with presenting the masterpiece to the masses. The song is off their latest album Monolith of Inhumanity that can be downloaded via iTunes or picked up at one of their shows. I personally have no had a chance to listen to the new album in its entirety but I have no doubt in my mind that it will be anything short of fuckin brutal.
Warning: This video is extremely gory and definitely NSFW, I personally think it’s amazing you will probably vomit…at least twice. Enjoy.

Evil Dead Trailer! (2013)

So apparently the trailer from the new Evil Dead leaked. It was premiered at New York’s Comic-Con and some very smart individual recorded it and uploaded to the internet. I want to say thank you to that person for your generosity. I know I hate remakes and reboots but this looks pretty awesome.

Thanks;

"I felt like I was on Mortal Kombat..."

25-year-old Shi'dea Lane from Cleveland finally speaks out about the events that took place on the morning of September 18th. In this video she states that she was looking for change to pay the bus fair, however, 59-year-old Rock'em Sock'em Artis Hughes, of East Cleveland was under the impression she did not have money. Shortly thereafter the situation escalated.  This interview explains just about everything from her point of view; in addition to, reiterating the severity of the situation. One interesting aspect to this video is that the interviewer asks, "What can you say about your roll in this, did you hit him..?” Shi'dea stutters a bit and totally avoids the question stating that she did not want to discuss that until she met with her lawyer. Smart move on her part but I do not think that she realizes there is a video being shown all over the world that clearly depicting her throwing the first punch.
I do not support violence against women by any means but when you put your hands on someone you have to be ready to except consequences.
As clearly represented in this video some people do believe in "Equal rights, Equal fights".
I wonder if Eli Roth or Paul Rodriguez is going to make a movie about this video too..? Maybe he can team up the Bus Driver (Artis Hughes) with the Veteran (Tom Slick) and have them teach discipline through violence to unruly people bus patrons….
He can title it "The Motherfucker and the Uppercutter"
Hmm...I should copyright this just in case.

By the way, why is it that no one is upset about this video..?
